While I'm Waiting

Heard this song in a movie and fell in love with it ... It's called While I'm Waiting By John Waller

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Taking every step in obedience

While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I wait

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait

I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting on You, Lord

Take the time ...

... to watch this video! It is so worth the time. I heard this song yesterday on the radio and I had to go find it on the net ... the line that was the most powerful to me is "Be careful little feet where you go, because it's the little feet behind you that are sure to follow."

What line do you find the most powerful??

Monk & Neagle CD

Their CD comes out tomorrow! It's a GREAT CD. I posted about this before when I received their CD in the mail for FREE. My boys and I LOVE this CD. It is on my ipod for my walks in the evening and the boys and I dance to some of the songs as I cook dinner as well. As soon as they hear it come on Pace will walk over and put up his hands for me to pick him up, he then grabs my hand to dance with me. So cute!. It is a great CD and each song has a great message. Go out and support these guys and buy their CD. It is a great CD that you will not want to put down! Did I mention that it was a GREAT CD????

One of my New Favs ...

Here are the lyrics to one of my new favorite songs .... This song reminds me that HE IS HERE and has not left us alone to walk through life no matter what comes our way, nor will he ever leave us to face this world alone. Oh the Glory that he came here to begin with ... it amazes me whenever I think about the sacrifice that He made for ME, FOR ME! WOW!

If you want to listen to the song you can go Here

Oh the Glory of it All
David Crowder Band

At the start
he was there, he was there
In the end,
he’ll be there, he’ll be there
And After all our hands have wrought
He forgives

Oh the Glory of it all is:
he came here
For the rescue of us all
that we may live
for the glory of it all
for the glory of it all

All is lost
find him there, find him there
After night
Dawn is there, Dawn is there

After all falls apart
he repairs he repairs
Oh the Glory of it all is:
he came here
for the rescue of us all
that we may live
for the glory of it all

oh he is here
for redemption from the fall
that we may live
for the glory of it all
oh the glory of it all
the glory of it all
oh the glory of it all

After night comes the light
dawn is heredawn is here
it’s a new day it’s a new day
everything will change
things will never be the same
we will never be the same
we will never be the same
we will never be the same
we will never be the same

Oh, The glory of it all isyou came here
for the rescue of us all
that we may livef
or the glory of it all

Oh you are here
with redemption for us all
that we may live
for the glory of it all
for the glory of it all
oh the glory of it all

Monk & Neagle

Last week I was able to sign up to receive a FREE CD! I mean who doesn't want free music? And especially when it's GREAT music! Well yesterday I got the CD!!!! YAY!

I had never heard of Monk & Neagle until BooMama talked about them on her Blog. I followed the link and fell in love with their music. It seemed like a cross between Bebo and John Mayer. I absolutely LOVE Bebo and so it was no coincidence that I liked their music.

The song that really stands out to me is The Twenty-first Time. Here is a line or two from the song ...

He may be a drifter who's grown old and gray
What if it’s Jesus and I walk away
I say I’m the body and drink of the wine
But I pretend not to see him for the Twenty-First Time

This song makes me stop and really think about the people I encounter on a daily basis. It reminds me of Matthew 25:40 "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."I don't know about your Bible but in mine Red letters represent the words of Jesus himself. This song made me think about the "least of these" in my life. Do I represent Jesus well to them or do I walk away? Something for me to ponder ... will you do the same?

Head on over HERE to check out their music. There are several songs on there you can listen to on their page until you can RUN (or pre-order and get it in the mail) to the store and buy their CD on September 18!
